Welcome to Monse's Omline Studio

Ready to explore a space where movement meets meaning? Asana and the wisdom of yogic philosophy come together to create an intelligent, embodied practice.

The wild and fluid vinyasa style of my classes are highlighted by incorporating elements from other disciplines that I practiced along my life journey.

Teacher, practitioner, forever student.

I am in constant pursuit of discovering intentional and intelligent movement woven into mindfully creative sequences and navigating into uplifting flows. That’s why you will find a sense of functionality, play and open-minded exploration through your asana practice.

Interdisciplinary

Animal flow, Kalari Payattu, mobility drills, slackline, acro yoga and free-form movement are some of the tools I use to encourage you to find your groove, to delve into your body’s full range of motion and move into a more natural, intuitive, safe and expansive way. I am here to offer you fresh and innovative perspectives inspired also in nature, symbolisms, philosophy and more.

Creative & effective

Breathe new life into your Vinyasa practice while we still honor tradition. You can expect consistency, structure, freedom, challenge, fun, balance and a vision of the practice as a map and navigation aide to guide and enhance life.

PRACTICE WITH PURPOSE

Commitment to Wildlife Conservation

Yoga holds a deeper significance beyond individual self-improvement and physical exercise. It's the recognition of the interconnectedness of all living beings.

With the purchase of any of my classes, 5% of the fee will be donated to the Wild Sun Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating local wildlife in Cabuya, Costa Rica.

Wild Sun Rescue Center provides vital care to animals affected by various threats. Your contribution supports their mission to treat, rehabilitate, and release animals back into the wild. Additionally, they work to raise awareness about wildlife conservation through internships and community engagement.
You can see their admirable work here: https://www.wildsunrescue.org/

When you join my classes you're not only deepening your practice but also contributing to the well-being of Costa Rica's unique wildlife.

Commitment to Cultural Appreciation & Preservation

As a practitioner and teacher of yoga in the Western world, I am deeply aware of the importance of respecting and honoring the cultural roots from which this ancient practice originated.

With this awareness in mind, I am committed to not only deepening my own understanding of yoga's rich philosophical and mythological traditions but also giving back to the cultures that have gifted us this transformative practice.

It's essential to recognize the fine line between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation. I do my best to approach the study of yoga's mythology and philosophy with humility and reverence, always striving to honor its origins and context.

With the purchase of any of my classes, an additional 5% of the fee will be donated to The Tantra Foundation Library joining their mission of Knowledge Preservation- Knowledge Creation- Knowledge Transmission.

The Tantra Foundation Library is based in New Delhi and it has a collection of over 7000 books (primary and secondary literature) and rare archival documents primarily, but not exclusively, devoted to the literature of the Tantras. This library has a mission of building exhaustive resources on this subject matter which includes research materials on religion, philosophy, arts and living culture.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of mindful practice and cultural respect.
